About me
I’m Lauren Van Ewyk, M.Sc. MHC, RSW. I’ve worked in private and public mental health since 2013, and I’ve run Wellspring Counselling Services from Courtright, Ontario, since 2015.
I specialize in childhood trauma, attachment and anxiety, marriage counselling and individual therapy, and I work with individuals and families across Canada to find hope and healing.
I’m a foster mom, and my husband and I raise sheep in southwestern Ontario. That life shapes my work: in 2022 I co-founded the National Farmer Mental Health Alliance, where I’m CEO, to train therapists to understand agricultural life and to raise awareness of mental health in farming and rural communities. I’m also completing a PhD in Rural Studies at the University of Guelph.
